Couple looking for a decent stay

Had a nice experience with their amenities, the stove and microwave were lifesavers after a long day. The staff was accommodating and even helped when we asked about local spots to grab dinner.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but still acceptable given the circumstances.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel because it was easy to find and conveniently close to amazing places like Phil Hardberger Park, perfect for walks and relaxation, and North Star Mall, which offered plenty of shopping options just a bit over 2 km away. while the room was fairly clean and the staff friendly, but the thin walls made for a less restful night.

Nice modern facilities and helpful staff, but thin walls allowed noisy neighbors all night.

I had a fantastic stay! The clean and modern facilities were a delight, and the lending locker concept was super handy. I also loved the outdoor pool. it was perfect for relaxing! I’d totally come back!

The cleanliness was a major disappointment. there was blood on the chair and a roach emerged from the coffee maker. Additionally, thin walls meant I could hear conversations throughout the night, affecting my sleep. On a brighter note, freshly baked cookies were a delightful treat, and the room had ample space for activities.

Close to the San Antonio Zoo and a short drive to downtown. The studio was perfect, with a full fridge and microwave. Free parking and strong Wi-Fi were a bonus. Don't miss the shuttle service to the airport!

Only downside was that housekeeping only cleans once a week. We needed a little more attention during our stay.

Candlewood offers a comfortable environment for business travelers, featuring a well-equipped kitchenette in my King Studio Non-Smoking room, which allowed for home-cooked meals during my stay. The staff was attentive and facilitated my work needs, including providing access to a business center with reliable internet, which was essential for my presentations.

The only downside was the lack of breakfast options.

i celebrated my birthday at candlewood and it exceeded my last stay experience in san antonio. the room was spacious with a full kitchen, making it perfect for gatherings. the friendly staff went above and beyond to make everything special, truly enhancing my stay.

the coffee maker had a sticky residue.

The room was nice and comfy, spacious enough for what we needed. I loved having a kitchenette with everything stocked for cooking, super handy! The bed was really soft, perfect after a long day. Wi-Fi was strong too, which was a plus. Only downside was that housekeeping was a bit sparse, coming only once a week.

candlewood is a great place to stay. our studio queen suite had a full kitchen, which was super handy. the outdoor pool was refreshing, and the gym was well-equipped. the staff was genuinely nice, particularly ashley, who helped us settle in. great location near downtown and the airport too!

Santos Mexican Cafe II just a hop away is a taco lover’s dream, serving up some finger-licking goodness! Plus, the kitchenette in my room made whipping up late-night snacks a breeze.

Checked in after a long flight, only to find out the shuttle deets were not shared the night before—awkward!
